Dream a Little Dream Machine :A Nocturne for Obsolescent Technologies

In this sound performance an ensemble of obsolete audio technologies dreams
up old dance tunes. Two dreamers find themselves sleeping here, ready for a
circuit of the electronic dance floor. Eyes closed, they do a valve and vinyl
waltz down memory lane. Live trombone and voices interplay with the mechanical
failures and random functions of a hand wound reel to reel, a valve record player,
an old typewriter, a sound storage chip and a confused computer, trying to
remember the words to a song.
